For plate-mounting on compressible sleeves with a porous surface, tesa recommends two special tesaprints. These film tapes are characterized by having a strongly adhering side (to the sleeve) and a weaker one (to the plate).
Special tesaprints in action:
Special tesaprint 52916 offers ideal hold for photopolymer plates on compressible sleeves. This transparent 0,10mm thick film tape has an adhesion to steel of 21,3N/25mm to the cylinder and 10N/25mm to the plate.
For extremely thin photopolymer plates, tesa special film 52307 should be used. This has an extremely weak adhesion to the plate.
